Every student who takes the PSAT on October 13th will receive a personalized study guideline highlighting areas in which they need to study to obtain a higher SAT score. According to the College Board, students who take the PSAT, on average, score higher on the SAT than those students who do not take the test.

The PSAT is also your opportunity to compete for the prestigious National Merit Scholarship, which can only be done if you take the PSAT on October 13th. There are also other scholarships opportunities for students of Hispanic and African-American decent.
